Our Story

Built for the people who show up.

Central Standard Brewing started with a simple idea: what if a brewery felt less like a destination and more like a part of the neighborhood? We opened our doors on the Wichita riverfront with that question in mind — and the answer has been the people who walk through them every day.

Our beers are brewed right here, poured with care, and meant to be shared. Whether you're celebrating something big or just need a good reason to sit a while, there's a spot for you at Central Standard.

Year-round

Standard Lager

Crisp, clean, and dangerously drinkable. Our flagship lager is the one people come back for — light enough for a summer afternoon, solid enough for any night of the week.

Year-round

River West IPA

Named for the Arkansas that runs behind our taproom. Juicy citrus and pine with a smooth finish — bold without being heavy. The one that put us on the map.

6.5% ABV · Medium body · 60 IBU
Seasonal

Prairie Wheat

Soft wheat, bright citrus notes, and a whisper of spice. Our seasonal wheat ale changes with the Kansas weather — light in the summer, a little more backbone in the fall.

5.2% ABV · Medium-light · 22 IBU
Limited

Iron Horse Stout

Dark, rich, and quietly powerful. Roasted malt with notes of chocolate and coffee — the kind of beer that makes you slow down and pay attention.

Wildflower Sour

Bright, tart, and unexpectedly complex. Our wild ale ferments with local honey and a touch of fruit — a reminder that the best things take time.

Our newest addition to the lineup. California pale malt meets a double hop charge — grapefruit, tropical fruit, and a finish that lingers just long enough.
